One can say that Toni Braxton’s New Year’s Resolution for 2014 was to not let Tamar be the only Braxton sister to make a comeback. Not only does she has a new album with longtime producer and songwriter Babyface, titled Love, Marriage, & Divorce to be released two weeks before Valentine’s Day, Toni is also releasing Unbreak My Heart: A Memoir, a book that will ideally give more details about her life and career.
What are some of the details that Toni may discuss in her book: her bad record deals with both LaFace Records and Blackground Entertainment, the day Oprah read her about buying Versace plates or who wasn’t man enough for her? The possibilities are endless.
I’m sure Toni will also discuss the multiple bankruptcies, her son’s autism, and being diagnosed with Lupus. However, like most of her fans, I’m hoping she is going to be candid about everything included her younger sisters’ rise to reality TV fame thanks to The Braxton Family Values. After all, a memoir is supposed to give you a behind the scenes look of a someone’s career.
Whether you’re a fan of her music, fan of the TV show, or just know her as the sister of Tamar, I’m sure her memoirs will allow you to “Breathe Again.” Unbreak My Heart is scheduled to be released in May 2014.
